What is Kybella?

Kybella is the newest, and only, FDA approved injection to treat the double chin.  It’s made by Allergan, the trusted maker of Botox and Juvederm.

The injections are perfomed in the office under topical anesthesia.  Patients may require between 1-3 treatment sessions, depending on the size of the double chin.

Patients may experience swelling, bruising and discomfort in the initial period after the injections.

Who is a good candidate for treatment?

Anyone who has a double chin with good skin tone is a good candidate.  If you have a significant amount of loose neck skin, you may be a better candidate for a necklift or facelift.
